Biography of CHEN LU : In the Beginning
Although I still can't spell correctly biology and biography. I decide to type my story now.(I have to practice writing! )
The story will notice a lot of Asian culture and other thing happened around me. Those things make who I am now.
Intro
My name is CHEN LU 陳璐. 29 years old. I born in Changhua, Taiwan. I painted countless days in my life. Spent 4 years in Japan. Now I live in Chaiyi.
About Name
It's a little special for Taiwanese that only 2 Chinese characters in my name, therefore many Taiwanese thought I'm Chinese when I was child. I asked my dad for why , my dad answered he wanted to show his respect to our ancestry, the generations before my grandfather they all only had one character for given name. And talking about my given name LU 璐, there are 王wang character is included in LU. Normally in Chinese, Wang王 means king. But thanks for great and difficult Chinese word system, 王wang is also represent to character YU玉, YU玉 in Japanese means egg, but in Chinese means jade. There are a tons of Chinese characters relate jade
show the importance of jade for ancient Chinese. So not only me but my 2 young brother's given name also one character and consisted of jade.
Childhood
I went to Changhua monthly, but I almost lived in Chaiyi until I go to college . My parents they born and met in Changhua. After they have me, they moved to Chaiyi, and started their vehicles' battery business. Their business is busy, therefore they didn't put much attention on me. But my dad was bad-tempered in those day, my mam cried often, I had to give her a cup of water and comfort her usually for taking her away from my dad's mean words. In sametime, I had to check my two young brothers. My mam had to take care us well and do whole house chores, it was too much work for her, she even had no enough postnatal care time when my 2 brothers born. In the end of finishing my elementary school, I got sick.
